A process for independent work
- Read the problem and write down what is known and what needs to be found.
- Identify the topic and recall the relevant rule or law of physics.
- Work step by step without skipping transformations or units.
- Check the answer: consider the sign, order of magnitude, and domain conditions.
- If you find a mistake, locate the first incorrect step and review that specific part of the topic.
How to keep practice from becoming copying
A hint is most useful after your own attempt. Opening a ready-made solution immediately can create a sense of understanding without building the skill. Write down your reasoning first, then compare it with the explanation.
